Design System
I had the wonderful opportunity at Opinion Box to be part of the construction and implementation of a new design system for both the CX Platform and the Research Platform. Alongside the talented designer Mike Brito, I contributed to a project that not only optimized our design and development processes, but also brought a more modern, updated, and competitive interface to our products.
Working on this project was incredibly rewarding — not only because of my passion for improving products, but also due to the trust placed in Mike and me to lead such an impactful initiative.

Project
Research
At the beginning, we conducted several competitive analyses, explored best practices in research platforms and UX, and carried out standardization studies. More importantly, we started by embracing a design-driven culture — which brought us even closer to our goal of ensuring modernity, competitiveness, adaptability, and scalability. We aligned our updates with market trends, guided by a broad and optimized UX/UI and product vision.
What We Did
Design culture: We fostered a user-centered and innovation-driven mindset throughout the project.
Color selection: We defined a color palette aligned with the brand identity, ensuring visual consistency.
Spacing, grids, and borders: We established clear guidelines for spacing, grids, and borders to standardize layout across all screens.
Component mapping: We created a reusable component library to promote scalability and development efficiency.
Interface modernization: We updated the visual design of the platforms, aligning them with current design best practices and trends.
Screen mapping: We identified and organized all product interfaces to gain a clear view of the structure and user flow.

Color and Contrast Study
Color contrast has a direct impact on readability, accessibility, and the overall aesthetics of a product. A well-thought-out color combination can significantly enhance the user experience by making content more legible and visually appealing.
With that in mind, we carefully selected colors that reflect the story and essence of each product, while ensuring harmony across platforms. This way, users who interact with both platforms experience a consistent and unified visual identity. Secondary colors, grayscale ranges, and feedback colors remain the same across both systems.

The changes were implemented across multiple screens. On the home screen, we reordered all rewards received by the user to highlight and give more value to those prizes. In the rewards screen, items are now listed based on the user's most frequently redeemed rewards, creating a more personalized experience. Additionally, in the reward statement screen, users can now copy their redeemed voucher code with a single click, improving usability and convenience.

Grids, Spacing, Border Radius, Buttons, Tables, Tooltips, Cards, Toasts, Inputs, Icons, Menus... and so on!
While we can’t showcase every detail, it’s worth noting how much effort went into this project. We worked hard to create countless variables, properties, components, usage rules, and application guidelines — all with the goal of building a solid, scalable, and consistent design system.

What I learned
Working on this project made me a better product designer.
I learned that paying close attention to detail and having clear standards to guide our creations is key — it’s the foundation that allows us to design with speed and accuracy.
This work is a living document, always evolving. Still, it's incredibly rewarding to know we’ve left a design legacy at Opinion Box — one that will positively influence future projects and help new designers work with more clarity and confidence.
Let’s connect!
I hope you enjoyed my project! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you'd like to work on your new project together!
